Fees for Online Counselling

We charge $85 per hour of counsellor time.

Sessions are pre-paid through PayPal.com. 

Therapy Online is Canada's leading professional online counselling agency. We are co-operating with the University of Toronto to provide counsellors certified training in "cybercounselling." You can expect top quality online counselling.

When you bare your soul to a professional counsellor, you deserve to be treated with the utmost care and honour. In order to deeply connect with you, understand you, and write a carefully worded therapeutic reply, we feel it is necessary to give you a full hour of our undivided attention.

Our fees, including all applicable taxes, are $85.00 (Canadian) per hour of counsellor time given to reading and responding to your concerns. (This hour includes a 10 minute allowance for your counsellor to deal with administrative matters.) This is enough time for your counsellor to read your problem description and reply deeply and thoughtfully to your concerns.

Your fees may be covered by your employee assistance plan, if you have one. If you contact your employee assistance representative and find that our services are not covered, please contact us at 1-888-437-2794.

To give you a price comparison, the going rate for face-to-face counselling is in the range of $60.00 to $120.00 (CAN) or more per 50 minute session.
